Kehidupan manusia kadangkala sangat mencabar apatah lagi sekiranya seseorang itu mentah di dalam menghadapi liku-liku kehidupan. Pengkhianatan seorang kawan, putus cinta, masalah di dalam pelajaran dan lain-lain lagi membuatkan seseorang individu tersebut tertanya-tanya adakah kehidupan di bumi ini penuh dengan penipuan dan kekejaman. Mungkin ianya terpulang kepada pandangan peribadi masing-masing…

Cerita diriku bermula di sebuah Universiti yang agak terkenal di utara Semenanjung Malaysia. Aku merupakan pelajar semester tiga yang sedang belajar di dalam bidang pengurusan pejabat. Namaku yang diberi adalah Mohd Shazwan dan pada tahun ini diriku sudah genap berusia 20 tahun. Pada hari pertama permulaan pelajaran, tatkala sedang berjalan berdekatan dengan bilik kuliahku pada awal pagi tersebut. Aku disapa oleh seseorang. “Assalamulaikum Wan, lama kita tidak jumpa ek?,” sapa seorang kawan yang bernama Firdaus. “Eh, Kau rupanya Aus, hehehe.. walaikumsalam,” balas diriku. Kemudian kami berjalan bersama-sama menuju ke bilik kuliah sambil berborak-borak mengenai kehidupan sewaktu cuti semester sebelum memasuki bilik kuliah.

“Saya harap kamu semua sudah jelas apa yang perlu kamu buat selepas ini dan saya mengucapkan tahniah kerana masuk kepada semester tiga,” kata Pensyarah Encik Airil. Selepas itu, semua pelajar di dalam kuliah menyahut, “Baik encik!”. Selepas itu, aku pun mula mengemas barang dan mula ingin meninggalkan bilik kuliah. Tiba-tiba, diriku terpandang kelibat seseorang yang sangat aku kenali. Dia merupakan kekasih hatiku pada semester dua, senyumannya yang manis itu sentiasa membuatkan hati kecilku girang. “Ai, mengelamun dari tadi? Kenapa awak?,” tanya Aziah padaku sambil memandangku. “Ehem, takder apa-apa… Saja jer tadi memikir tentang sesuatu.. Awak dah makan?” tanya diriku. “Urm.. Belum lagi.. lagipun tengah tunggu awak la dari tadi” balas Aziah. Kemudian aku mengeleng kepala lalu berkata, “Jom, saya teman awak pergi makan”. Kemudian aku dan dia pun mula pergi ke kedai makan yang berdekatan dengan kawasan kuliah aku. Aku berbual-bual dan bertanya perihal diri dia sewaktu cuti sambil menikmati makanan. Aku berasa tenang bila berjumpa dengan si dia apatah lagi kami telah tidak berjumpa hampir sebulan lebih kerana diriku yang berasal dari Selatan tanah air dan dia pula berasal dari Utara tanah air.

Setelah aku menghantar dia pulang ke kolej kediamannya, aku mula beransur pergi untuk kembali ke kolej aku pula. Namun ketika dalam perjalanan pulang ke bilik, aku berfikir adakah percintaan ini akan kekal? Atau ianya hanya sementara sahaja? Adakah kebahagiaan ini akan kekal selamanya atau ianya hanya sekadar sementara.. Aku teringat tentang perbualan antara sahabat baikku yang sekarang berada di salah satu Universiti di Selatan tanah air. “Jika kebahaagian ini mempunyai bentuk, apakah bentuk yang sesuai untuknya?” tanya diriku kepada Hafiz pada waktu itu. Lalu dia menjawab “Mungkin ianya di dalam bentuk segelas kaca kerana walau macam manapun kita memutarkannya kebahagiaan yang kita rasai itu tetap sama, tidak akan berubah malah ianya berkilau dengan cantik sekali.” Kemudian kami bergelak ketawa bersama-sama. Kata-kata tersebut sentiasa terngiang-ngiang di telingaku.

Secara tiba-tiba, aku disergah oleh seseorang yakni kawan sebilikku. “Woi, watper tu? Mimpi ker apa? Lagipun Ko nak pergi mana?,” tanya Shafik ketika dia melihat kelibatku yang seakan tidak perasan kewujudannya walaupun aku lalu disebelahnya sahaja. Aku menjawab ringkas sahaja, “Hehehe.. minta maaf sangat, tak perasan tadi“. Kemudian dia bertanya lagi, “Ko nak pergi mana tu?”. Aku menjawab, “Nak pergi balik bilik la… Nanti jumpa kat bilik tau!”. Kemudian aku memulakan langkah kembali pergi menuju ke kolej kediaman aku sambil Shafik melihat aku berlalu pergi. Setelah kembali ke bilik, aku mula merebahkan diri ke atas katilku sambil menyelak-nyelak buku teks pelajaranku dan cuba mengingati apa yang aku pelajari sewaktu di dalam bilik kuliah. Tidak sampai sejam aku mengamati dan membaca, aku mula merasa mengantuk lalu tertidur akibat keletihan. Mungkin kerana melihat waktu sudah hampir Magrib, rakan sebiliku Hafiz mengejutkan aku dan menyuruh aku pergi mandi lalu bersiap diri untuk mengadap Tuhan yang Maha Esa. Aku dengan pantas terus mengambil alatan mandian aku lalu terus menuju ke bilik air untuk mandi. Bila tiba masanya azan berkumadang, aku mula menunaikan tanggungjawab aku sebagai seorang muslim.

Malaysia

Have you heard about Malaysia? Yet maybe some of you heard about it but for the people who don’t know where it, Malaysia located in South East Asia. Malaysia is just above from Singapore. What can one do in a country in South East Asia? Yet since 1997 more than 16 million tourist who visit Malaysia every year. In 2007, the total number of tourists reached to 26 million, one of the highest since the beginning of the 21st century. You may wonder how Malaysia able to attract so many tourists. A key to that answer is the myriad of activities one can do in Malaysia. Whether one is a tourist staying or a local living in Malaysia, there are many types of leisure activities to do: outdoor activities, visits the historical sites, city and cultural tours, eating and shopping sprees. We will focus mainly on different kinds of leisure relax activities that one can do to enjoy in Malaysia.

Malaysia may be a developed country but it has many spectacular places that one can visit during their vacation in Malaysia. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, Malaysia has many to offer to old and young, the adventurous, and those who prefer a quiet, serene walk. In Malaysia, outdoor activities mean visits to beaches, reservoirs, nature reserves and wildlife sanctuary, gardens and parks. One the greatest wonderful places Malaysia have as an island situated at Kedah, one of the states in Malaysia. Langkawi Island has beautiful clean beaches and water clear crystal that would mesmerize tourists. A part of that the island resorts and public amenities are one of the attractions for tourists visit to that island.

Besides beaches, there are nature reserves and wildlife sanctuary and hill station for those who enjoy greenery, plants and wildlife watching. The Zoo Negara of Malaysia and The National Rainforest of Malaysia have taken great care to preserve and protect these places and wildlife that are endangered species so that they are relatively untouched or destroyed by the developments. Cameron Highland and Mountain Kinabalu are a must for those enjoy trekking. There is challenging yet not strenuous hence allowing trekker to take in and appreciate the tropical and fauna. The top of it offers a paranomic view of the reserve and parts of Malaysia especially when early morning of dawn.

As for those people who enjoy a quiet walk, there are many parks or gardens throughout the Malaysia. Parks and garden in Malaysia are usually hot spots for joggers, runners and brisk walker. Besides that, it also a spot for people to have a picnic with their family or friends cause the gardens giving one sense of serenity and a breath of fresh air. One of the most famous gardens is the Malaysia Putrajaya Botanic Gardens. Besides of it have different types of plants including flowers, ferns and fruits, but there is an orchid garden within the Putrajaya Botanic Gardens. In addition, there is an amphitheater where outdoor performance or events are staged and few lakes with benches near them, ideal for people who just wan to sit and relax.


For your information, all the things have been mentioned are just several of activities both tourist and locals can do at beaches, nature reserves and wildlife sanctuary, parks and gardens. There are many other leisure activities one can do such as shopping sprees, visits historical places and foods. Although Malaysia maybe a country that are still developed, it has a lot to offer in terms of places, people, and culture. This is the cause why so many tourists visit and revisit Malaysia.

Health issue regarding online game play

Regarding health issue when playing these online games, it is important not to play these games too much because it may excessive for health. “Online addiction is presented in this paper as a process addiction with four unique factors: perceived social sanctions, excessive play, uncontrollable play, and displacement” Bowman & Huh (2008) (online). There are many cases has been reported around the world that cause from too much hour of playing particular online games. “Such like one man who was found dead in an Internet café after allegedly playing for over 50 hours with few breaks.” Khazan (2006) (online).

“Stories such as these have raised concerns from government agencies and citizens groups, who wish to better, understand the dynamics of online game play, especially those variables that lead to online game addiction.” Bowman & Huh (2008) (online). That’s why it is important that people especially these people that being labeled hardcore player to start thinking carefully when playing online game so these thing would not happen again to their self.

The Future Technology

In this 20th century, the humanity are become more advanced especially in IT. With the latest technology, computer games become more popular with people around the globe. Computer games as a leisure activity have become an ever-increasing part of many young people’s day-to-day lives.

But do you know that, with the latest technology that being developed by the humanity, the people now also can get socializes and enjoying playing with other people around the globe by just sit in front of PC. The truth now, people are not socializes virtually by using Hotmail Messenger or Yahoo Messenger, but using the new form like online games to chat or doing something in Internet.

What is an online game? Online games are played through Internet. Unlike traditional games PC or console games where one or 2 players are connected on a personal computers, online games allow many players around the world to connect via Internet. Perhaps some of you might never heard about this new phenomenon but as time pass by as we speak, many people are become interest in this game as we call it virtual world besides the reality world that we are living in.

Online games usually involved in Role-playing genre which known as RPG. This genre allows us to control a character that represents our self in the virtual world. There are so many variety of online games that now been created such Ran Online, Cabal Online and much more. Besides that, there are many types of genre from RPG which like shooting, racing and many more. More recently, with the rapid diffusion of broadband Internet services and high-end graphic cards for computers and console systems, online video games have become more popular and attractive than ever before.

Webcams are used to monitor traffic with TraffiCams, the weather with WeatherCams and even volcanoes with VolcanoCams. A webcam (web camera) takes images and videos and sends them in real-time to another computer over the internet or a local network. It usually connects to the computer through the USB or PS/2 port, or over a wireless connection such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Most models can also take still images and videos when offline. They are well-known for their low manufacturing costs and flexible applications.

There two types of webcams which is wired webcam and wireless webcam. A wired webcam connects to a peripheral port using a cable. Some models have plug and play (PnP) installation, which allows it to operate without installing driver software. It often has a clip at the base that secures it to a table or a stand for stability. It has a relatively low frame rate, but it can still produce satisfactory images.

Meanwhile, a Wireless webcam connects to a computer using Bluetooth or a wireless network (Wi-Fi). It provides greater flexibility and freedom of movement, allowing various angles and positions relative to the computer. It is more expensive than a wired webcam. It may also come with a clip for stability

Webcams connected to PCs can act as web-accessible cameras with certain software. Usually this kind of software works with most webcams, since the software auto-detects the peripheral. Many different programs are available, free, open source, and proprietary.

Webcam software can be configured in many ways. Some software come with motion detection ability and time lapse capture options or both. Captures can be short videos in predefined length or still images. Thus, the software can essentially turn the web cam into a security camera. Many businesses and home owners can effectively use a simple webcam device to create their own security system with only a webcam and one of these types of software applications.

The captured files can be saved locally, uploaded to an internet server (via FTP or HTTP) (from which they can be made accessible to anyone over the web), or privately e-mailed to the user per predefined rules. Options for image size and quality, overlaying logos, and time stamping images are usually available. File names can be sequential numbers or current time. New features such as lighting, real-time enhancements (retouching, wrinkle smoothing and vertical stretch) can make users more comfortable, further increasing popularity. Features and performance vary between programs.

Web conferencing support is included in programs including Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), Windows Live Messenger, Skype, iChat, PaltalkScene, Ekiga, Stickam, Camfrog and Meetcam.

Some online video broadcasting sites have taken advantage of this technology to create internet television programs centered on two (or more) people "dialoging" with each other from two different places. Among others, BloggingHeads.tv uses this technology to set up conversations between prominent journalists, scientists, bloggers, and philosophers

Meanwhile the good effects about video chat is a good example of positive use, since it allows for cheap real-time communication from anywhere in the world. Webcasting is generally also a positive side of webcams, although terrorist groups also use it to spread their opinions. Webcasting has spun up a global community, based primarily on amateur video production. However, news websites like the BBC also produce professional live news videos. YouTube is yet another example of amateur production of extremely famous video material.

Even so they are negative effects such internet privacy is the biggest concern of webcams. Children and teens under the legal age of consent have easy access to video broadcasting hardware and software, worrying their parents. Adult webcam related material is also a large portion of the webcam related sites on the internet and can be easily accessed through search engines if no parental control is enforced.

Air Pollution: The Effect towards Human

In the present time now, air pollution is common event that always occur in our planet. Despite the effort of the people who is trying to prevent this scenario from happening again in present time. It seems their effort is waste as the people on earth did not realize the bad effect that can cause from air pollution. For your information, air pollution is introduction of chemicals, particulate matter, or biological materials that cause harm or discomfort to humans or other living organisms, or damages the natural environment, into the atmosphere. The atmosphere is a complex, dynamic natural gaseous system that is essential to support life on planet Earth. Stratospheric ozone depletion due to air pollution has long been recognized as a threat to human health as well as to the Earth's ecosystems.

Despite of that, people seem did not care much since they lack of the awareness of the bad effect and that effects will be receive especially for the young generation who did not aware of this matter. There are many bad effects for the body such as arsenic poisoning. Normally arsenic poisoning will cause nerve damage to the body. Besides that, it also can cause skin damage or we called it Hyperkeratosis (Scaling skin) and pigment changes. And the worse more part is it will increased cancer risk at body part such lung, bladder, kidney and livers.

It also can give lead poisoning to the body. There been divided into two categories which are called high levels lead and low levels lead. For the high levels lead effect, it would cause mental retardation, coma, convulsions and the worse part is death. Meanwhile, the effects that causes from low levels lead are reduced IQ, attention span and impaired growth. Besides that, the person will face reading and learning disabilities. Which make the person become dumb and it also will affect hearing abilities and other range behavioral effects.
